Post-Impressionism (late 1800s - early 1900s) Post-Impressionism was a diverse art movement that emerged in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, following Impressionism. While sharing some of Impressionism's interest in light and color, Post-Impressionists diverged in significant ways:   Subjective Expression: They moved beyond the purely objective observation of Impressionism, emphasizing personal expression and interpretation.   Exploration of Form and Structure: Post-Impressionists explored form and structure more rigorously, experimenting with techniques like Pointillism, Cubism etc
